E30BMA 0 Report post Posted November 4, 2008 Saw this on TM and am sure its been on there for a while. Any one know the car or been to view it?? Anything common to watchout for on the UK imports? link Im interested in the car but curious if its been on here for a while that there might be some reason why its still not sold. Looks tidy from the outside but theres no interior or engine pics

1rotty 40 Report post Posted November 4, 2008 Does look nice-love the rims & yes it has been on a while but that doesnt mean much in todays market. Ex UK -look out for rust.
greenday-rulz21 6 Report post Posted November 4, 2008 (edited) The link doesn't work for me?It doesn't work for me on chrome, but it works on firefox.Looks a mint car actually. ^ As he said look for rust. Mines a UK import but it has a protective coating from factory to prevent rust. Wouldn't know if this would be applicable to a '91 car. But apart from that just the usual e36 problems. E30BMA 0 Report post Posted November 4, 2008 Yeah I had wondered if rust might be an issue. any common areas on E36's to pay attention to?
Cale 36 Report post Posted November 4, 2008 (edited) Check for rust. Can definitely be a problem on E30s. Sure is, sometimes wonder why I bought a e30 that was from England [edit] Go for it, not putting you off- it is a nice car for sure. But check carefully first. Don't get too emotional in the buying process. Once you have it and it tis mint- you can have a few tears of joy. E30BMA 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2008 (edited) Thanks guys, a pre purchase check is definately on the cards before I go ahead. Ive been wanting to get another E36 for quite a while since my last one got murdered by rogue Nissan. No tears of joy that day Was only a 320iA, so a manual 325 might be a nice change Edited November 6, 2008 by E30BMA
