king springs!

use a compresser and do the fronts yourself aswell.

easy as that

king springs are cheap soft crap .. basically.

Try Jamex - although i'm finding them too soft. Your best bet would be H&R. www.shoxs.com. Any mechanic can put the front springs in - I take my car to Bavarian Motors 444 5312 - tell them Andrew sent you.

had a look at the h&r website but they dont sell any springs for 318i

but i found some eibach. are these any good.

the lowering is 1.6 in at front and 1.0 in at back

would this come out even or would the back be higher than the front

really you should try and get it as even as possible, the back only looks lower cos the guards come down further, if you want the guards the same height then i guess it would be about right. i have 60mm lower springs in the front and they are captive, so they pass wof, you can go lower than 40mm if you want, i know a guy that can get 90mm lower, that would put it about the same height as tims car. his has been certed cos its only 80mm off the ground though

I maybe keen to sale my Jamex springs (still unsure, find out later on this week because of work), but i bought them from mag and turbo Wellington for $550 (with fitterment etc) with recepts etc. il be looking at the $250 mark. They lowerd my car 60mm, (my car had aftermarket springs put it, and was a lot highter then standard), so i cant really tell how much lower it is compared to the standard. I can send you photos or post them up on here soon. Cheers

No - not a good price. $300 - 320 is what you should be looking at.

Not sure - I think he charges $60/hr for BMWCC members - but don't quote me on that. He doesn't get back from Germany till the 20th though.
