bmpower 3 Report post Posted November 23, 2008 Have the below car for sale, want $500 but will take $400 from bsport members. 1985 318i auto m10, de-reg, no wof Gearbox is stuffed (the last owner towed it so stuffed forward gears, still goes in reverse though!) Have started it 2 or 2 times and engine seems ok, i am not however a mechanic. The car is a bit rough but could be a good project for someone. If your car is a 1990 model ie black bumpers you will have the m40 engine - the conversion i have is for an m10 (earlier engine, chrome bumper e30's) However it may pay to double check with someone more in the know as to whether it can be bolted up to your m40.
