e36 clutch bleeding

Recommended Posts

Hi all, I'm trying to bleed the clutch the manual way, open slave bleeder, pump pedal, close bleeder.. etc

But it just drops to the floor? The brake fluid tank is filled up to the top (which is shared with the clutch?)

I have now read on the net it can be tricky doing this :o

Have it so the pipes run into an air tite container, I used a glass jar and just drilled two holes in the lid. Have it so the pipe off the slave is in the bottom and the vacuum pipe near the top. It needs to be air tite though.

What??? All this to bleed a clutch on an e30?

It takes 5 minutes the normal way!
