Homy.D.Clown 0 Report post Posted October 29, 2003 ha i just fixed this on my sisters E30 common problem with the seals it seams. get a tube of windscreen sealant(non setting..so it remmains stickey for ages)(dont wanna get urethane by mistake and never get your tail lights out ever again) take out ya lights, and run a beed around both sides of the foam seal. make sure theres no gaps in the line of goo(use prepsol or any weakish solvent to remove any mistakes. *sic 1 Report post Posted October 30, 2003 yeap thats why you dont use urethane then you can pull it back off without having to get out the gas axe
Homy.D.Clown 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2003 Yo. you'll need a corking gun to apply the stuff, or roll down to your local windscreen/panel place and ask them to spread their black oozing love all over your rear... lights

E30_318i 0 Report post Posted November 18, 2003 Yeah, Ive got it too, water from the tail light running down to form a pool where the jack sits. Its a c**t. Now I've got to figure how I'm going to apply the sealant. Its sitting in my glove box.
