Getting into the fog lights

Hey guys, i'm wondering if anyone knows how to get into my fog lights ...

I've looked in my Car manual but i can't find anything about changing bulbs for the fog lights ...

its probably safe to assume the bulbs come out the back...

This is from a 2001 E46 compact .. your bulbs look different though.

Yeah it's differnet to that ... my is the face lift version.

And i know that it comes from the back but i don't know hot to get behind it ... do i need to take the tray at the bottom of the car off or what ??

I've never looked at one - but if there is an air dam or something - remove that and see if you can see behind the valance to get the fog lights.

in the E36s they have almost a trap door uner the front bumper - you undo the little bolt and open it up and it gives access to the spotlights. Mine did have that until i hit that damned cat about a year ago, now i dont have the inner guards... I would think that the E46s would follow a similar format, surely they know that someone will want to replace a bulb when it blows...
