xtr041947 0 Report post Posted February 10, 2009 (edited) Hi, I have an e38 01. The remote part of my keys have died, as in the buttons to lock and unlock no longer work. It has been a gradual death as they were working on and off, but now stopped. I have tried the initailisation procedure, I know they have to come from bmw ex Germany. Has anyone tried to claim replacement under mechanical warranty? My warranty is with the AA, they have been really good so far.
