Have been out of action for the last 3 1/2 months with a transverse fracture to my right humerus with a few cm's displacement (translation for laymen being I snapped my upper right arm into 2 pieces) miraculously to date I have avoided the risky surgical procedure- my doctor and I think it's probably best to let it fix the old fashioned way rather than risk the high likelyhood of nerve damage, worst case being loss of use of my arm. I went to see my orthapedic specialist yesterday (great way to spend a birthday) and xrays show a bond forming but it's still a long way off. I have limited use of my arm in a sling, my joints are pretty seized and still can't drive, but I've been enjoying myself anyway so it's not all bad.
