e30 pre facelift and facelift windscreens

As title states...

Is a windscreen out of an e30 pre-facelift coupe (my parts car) able to fit into my facelift sedan?

As far as Ive been told.. Nope! They are a few mms different and dont fit properly. But someone here is bound to correct me.

I put a screen from a facelift 318 sedan into my prefacelift 323 coupe with out any problems.

I've done the pre f/l to f/l with no problems as well.

The only one different is the E30 M3 one, which is the same shape, but it's bonded into the frame to enhance rigidity.

You're brave. Removing windscreens has always scared me.

I'm sure having someone to help you is a good tip lol.

And E30 windscreens have that rubber strip in the middle of the window rubber that you pull out,

The thing comes loose and you can remove it.
