Grant 4 Report post Posted November 1, 2004 Hi All Here is some info on the legendary E30 M3 DTM cars. It seems that this is an ongoing process (getting the information on the presentations) but it is really interesting anyway. http://www.s14.net/forums/showthread.php?s...=&threadid=8850 Enjoy Cheers
Guest Spargo Report post Posted November 1, 2004 (edited) So, you ghost there too? Gustave's site is good too. Give a technical explanation for why stuff was done the way it was. Having been lucky enough to gave a crawl over a couple of them in storage here (don't ask, im not telling) I'm in awe. My Eleanor. Edit: there an eight page article on touring cars in the November Issue of Evo, 87 DTM E30 M3 gets a couple of columns. Quote Yvan Muller You can't beat a BMW touring car becuase they have rear wheel drive and superb balance; the front and rear slide exactly the right amount in relation to one another. This is the most rewarding to drive because nothing take you by suprise... It's obvious that it was a forerunner to my first touring car, and it's no wonder BMW hqas such a good reputation.
