petemcc 0 Report post Posted May 12, 2009 My 740il had a leaking hydraulic hose going to the passengers side front shock. I replaced the pipe and now have a wining noise coming from the pump. I assume it is due to air in the system (similar to when when air is in the power steering sytem) I understand they use the same pump but it has two seperate parts to it.
