[email protected] 0 Report post Posted May 19, 2009 I have to replace my front shocks and am aware that there are at least 2 types of shocks, depending on wether the car has standard or sports suspension. Does anyone know if the 330i comes standard with sports? Cheers! Dave

elmarco 56 Report post Posted May 20, 2009 I'm not 100% sure, but I think the sports suspension refers to the Motorsport model of the car - which I believe is slightly lower than the standard.
SUSPENSION 0 Report post Posted May 20, 2009 Should be standard, all coupe's come with motorsport springs, but either way it shouldn't matter which shock you use as the motorsport version is uprated in the shock valving so won't affect the height of the car, will just be firmer. Hi, Many thanks for the reply. Can I ask if it makes any difference if I just use them to replace the fronts? The units I am looking at are second hand so would expect that they will be 'less firm' than when new(?) Thanks again for the help! Dave
