GRIFF125 0 Report post Posted July 14, 2009 Hi all, I'm building a Fiat classic racer and I'm looking for some period wheels. Fiats have a bloody ugly 4x98 PCD with limited wheel choices. As I wish to run 15x7 to 15x8 rims it makes sence to redrill my PCD to 4x100. What wheels, sizes and offsets are available? Anyone have some alloys for sale? regards, Griff
SIR E30 68 Report post Posted July 14, 2009 (edited) Look for a guy called zenetti (jono) He is selling 15x8 Borbet wheels at the moment for a great price - but be quick cause they are HOT! Heres the link - http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....mp;#entry262640 disclaimer: This is not a sales pitch, just friendly advice Edited July 14, 2009 by SIR E30
CamB 48 Report post Posted July 14, 2009 Depending on the offset, there are a lot more wheels available in 4x114.4 (Nissan etc), and they're cheaper.
Forrest 35 Report post Posted July 14, 2009 (edited) I have some cheap 15 x 7 wheels that are not perfect, have been repainted with a spray can, one has a nasty curb but looking for around 300 for them, good for a race car were on my old e30 race car. Pm me if your interested and for pics. The wheels are 4 x 100, Offset I think is +15 - Nathan Edited July 14, 2009 by Forrest

GRIFF125 0 Report post Posted July 14, 2009 Changing from 4x98 to 4x100 probably wont be noticed by too many people. Which is what I would prefer.
CamB 48 Report post Posted July 14, 2009 Fair enough. Well, in 4x100: - its extremely easy to find wheels with an offset of +35 to +45 (Honda) - its less easy to find between +0 and +35 (basically, its BMW) - if you need brake clearance, its harder again - and wanting period alloys narrows it some more. Having said that, there is stuff out there. Keeping an eye on the "for sale" section in this forum is a good idea.
