Nobimmer 694 Report post Posted July 20, 2009 I remember someone doing this but can't for the life of me remember who it was. Anyways, how would one go about removing the long range fuel tank in a SA 325i? Will do it on Wednesday if it all works out. I THINK I remember the person who did it having to buy some extra bits? Any help would be mint Cheers Ashkan

Guest FrantiC Report post Posted July 20, 2009 Remove the tank and probably replace part #5 on here : http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?mo...hg=16&fg=05 to part #15: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?mo...hg=16&fg=05 As in, seems the only way the tanks are connected is via that inlet tube, So if you change to a standard one then good bye extra tank... Would make it easier to sell to someone too, all they would have to do is swap that tube around from what I can see.
