Forrest 35 Report post Posted August 1, 2009 So I have a nice 'S' shaped crack across my passenger side high beam headlight in my E30, I have unplugged and removed all the wires etc and uscrewed the light bracket with headlights still connected to said mount. The next question is, how the heck do I get the headlights off? The only things keeping them on are the bolts for adjusting the headlights. My Dad did it before on my old car but can't remember how, I just need to replace the entire headlight unit with a new unbroken one. Sorry for the most noobest, obvious answer thread of the day :S Thanks, Nathan
tire 10 Report post Posted August 1, 2009 Ummm, with the plugs unplugged and those big phillips screws out they should just drop out the front bro. There are 3 of those big screws per headlight, have you undone three? I went and double checked my car just now to be sure!
Forrest 35 Report post Posted August 1, 2009 ^ Yeah I have the headlights off the car with the mount still connected to them. How do the headlights come off the mounting bracket...noob as, as I only want to replace ONE headlight as opposed to both as the outside headlights are HID's.
