Grant 4 Report post Posted December 8, 2004 Hi The second hand Recaro seats I bought off Trade Me showed up today. They are in good nick, but the actual fabric could do with a good clean. What is the best stuff to use to clean the seat fabric? Andrew..is there any special stuff that Roverland use?? After that I just need to get them fitted, but that shouldn't be too much of a major. 318is 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2004 I was told by a friend he used Frend carpet spray cleaner stuff. Stunk like a bitch for a little, but they came up like new and no fading. And hes a grubby mechanic always covered in crap. If you do try it, I suggest testing it on a part you dont see first. Myself - I would go to a car groomer and pick their brains. Cheers...but I don't mind paying for it (but I understand that what pro's use is sometimes 'unavailable' to the public). If you did manage to 'acquire' some stuff, I certainly wouldn't complain. Guest Andrew Report post Posted December 11, 2004 can you do Maguires very cheap ? Not many grooming places use it - the decent places all use autoglym.
