efirty 0 Report post Posted August 29, 2009 Hey guys, just a few quick questions.. I need to replace my rear shocks for a WOF, do i need a specific tool to remove the two top bolts of the shocks? Or do you unbolt a nut off the bolt from the inside of the boot? Any help would be appreciated
3series 0 Report post Posted August 29, 2009 (edited) Two bolts at the top to undo the mount from the car, one bolt undone on the rear trailing arm. Remove the strut. Then I believe you have to use an adjustable spanner on the top to stop it rotating and a cresent spanner on the nut to take it off. Will see if I can find a tutorial for you. edit - http://www.pelicanparts.com/BMW/techarticl...Rear_Suspen.htm Edited August 29, 2009 by bmw3
