Fuel Gauge not working

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, when my car got tuned they took my intank pump out as it was restricting fuel flow. Now im not sure if it was this that caused my fuel gauge no to work but its not working anymore. They had a spare dash which i have got the fuel gauge out of it on my car now and that hasnt helped at all.

The guage is right round at the 55L mark and wont come back down, when i first put it in it would be very unstable and rise and drop randomly could this be the sender unit being faulty?

Cheers, Luke

I would say it's the nut on the back of the cluster.

give it a tighten... sounds a bit like what my gauge was doing before I tightened it up :)

True shot Michael I'll try that otherwise I may have to try another sender unit.

Cheers
