bekker 7 Report post Posted September 10, 2009 Can anyone please recommend a good place to get an alignment done on an E28? Anyone had experience here in Welly? I believe they are supposed to put weights on the seats or something but I've never seen anybody do this. I've had a nightmare in the past with Tony's and alignments so I think I'd like a specialist this time. All help appreciated. Cheers
twisted 45 Report post Posted September 10, 2009 There's a guy up the top of Taranaki st. Dave Tunley I think. Worked wonders on my Legacy after Tonys messed it up.
Guest Simon* Report post Posted September 10, 2009 Incidentally, I have had bad experiences with local tyre shops giving me poor alignments too - I go straight to the specialists now

bekker 7 Report post Posted September 10, 2009 Dave Tunley was going to be my first choice if no ne had any better suggestions. I wonder if this is the kinda thing we should have a section dedicated to? I mean good places to take your BMW for all kinds of work. Could have it split into sections. Wom 0 Report post Posted September 10, 2009 I found Tony's in Lower Hutt (the one across from Wholesale Cars) to be quite useless. I found Mag n Turbo Lower Hutt to be alright, and they're quite cheap.

bekker 7 Report post Posted September 11, 2009 Whats the difference between a good alignment and a not good alignment? My experience says a lot in a BMW! They seem a lot more sensitive than other cars I've owned hence the need for someone who really knows what they are doing.
