BMA 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2005 its without head, and i can take a guess a head to match would be next to impossible to find so only good for someone with M3 already

The add sounds odd though as a 3.0l & 3.2l use different cranks & rods!?!?!
Gus 5 Report post Posted January 6, 2005 glenn....is the crank a straight swap? or would machining be needed?
E30-323ti 66 Report post Posted January 7, 2005 glenn....is the crank a straight swap? or would machining be needed? From what I have read they need the front mainseal or main bearing part of the crank enlarged to suit the M20 block, not a bolt in but can be fitted.Have a search on the US forums, I think IE used S50 cranks in their 3.0l stroker kits!?!?!
