my_e36 43 Report post Posted November 1, 2009 as topic I am after a video converter program to convert DVD and various other files (AVI, MPG and RMVB mainly) to view on my iPhone. I already have Premier Element 4 which can do that but it's slow and complicated to setup the conversion. All I really need is something that I tell the program where the input file is, then it will spit out a video file suitable for iPod which I can then inport into iTunes and transfer to iPod. There are so many of them on the net (both paid and "free"), what do you guys use? Thanks in advance. Cheers, Vincent

vyking56 0 Report post Posted November 4, 2009 Handbrake is another. It's available for both Windows & Mac - pretty easy to use too, you give it a video file and select from a pre-determined output file type... ie iPhone.
|ncary 0 Report post Posted November 4, 2009 I can recommend Handbrake too. Google it. I mostly use actual Itunes (Itunes>Advanced>Create Ipod or Iphone Version), if that fails (like slow ass laggy Itunes usually does), Sony Vegas does the trick. martyyn 2 Report post Posted November 4, 2009 Another vote for Handbrake. Very simple to use although you'll have to ask Grant what the output was like !
