Do you/did you have an NZ license before moving to Aus?

I showed them my nz one when I got here at the licenseing centre and they gave me an aus one. I think they may have kept my nz one.

I "think" going by the Transport NZ website, that if you lost your Aus license, but still have your NZ one your fine to drive in NZ. So as long as you have/get your NZ license, or just ask for a replacement here, you'll be ok to drive. Don't quote me on this as I couldn't find any specific examples like your case, so prob best to call or email but by the sounds of things you lost your Aus one not NZ so you should be fine. Hope this makes sense.
