|ncary 0 Report post Posted November 16, 2009 Mine does this sometimes. The wire loom from the door to the chassis is worn and loses contact when you open/close the door.

just-drift-it 0 Report post Posted November 16, 2009 (edited) Mine does this sometimes. The wire loom from the door to the chassis is worn and loses contact when you open/close the door.It can't be that because i took the little plastic bit that pushes on the switch when you close the door so the switch doesn't close contacts so the car thinks a door is still open and i can put the windows up and down with the door shut, only problem if i do that my alarm thinks a door has been left open, so really need to fix whatever it is that is making the switch have to be in the open position, by the way its any door that can be opened and the windows will work, not just a specific one so dont think it is the worn loom thing your talking about. hotwire 352 Report post Posted November 16, 2009 Problem in probably in unloader relay or circuit. Cuts these circuits while cranking. Check for disconnected wire at starter - control wire for unloader relay. If unsure - see an auto sparky
