DRYICE 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2005 Just cut the very bulky and very useless Nokia speakers and am wanting to put in Sony 6x9's. Anyone know of an easy way to fit a pair of 6x9's to an e36 without cutting any metal on the rear tray? Cheers
bimmer boy 21 Report post Posted January 13, 2005 you will proberbly need to get some of those pod things or spacer things so your 6x9 will sit above the parcel tray and the round bit at thew bottom of the 6x9 will sit in the hole thats already there
*sic 1 Report post Posted January 13, 2005 i dont like them so i wont tell you how to put them in but if you go to jaycar or paralel imports or any like company, even driving sound you can purchase the spacers from them... or make them yourself if your handy with a router and a jigsaw.. aliluya 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2005 I don't recommend 6x9's in the E36 i used to have one and i've experiemented with them and they suck ... so i got a decent two or three way speaker that fits the original holes ... and mounted them from the bottom up ....sound excellent and people didn't even know they were after market ..
