Indicators/hazard have stopped working

Recommended Posts

Hey my indicators have randomly stopped working (push the lever nothing will happen) car is a bmw e30 318i 1986. i installed an alarm at the start of the year but i dont think that will have anything to do with it. ive read that it could be the flasher relay thing.

any comments will help

cheers.

Mine did this a while back, would work some days and the next day they wouldnt, changed the flasher unit with a spare on i had and problem solved, so your best bet is too change that first.

Been discussed here before.

Bound to be the flasher at fault & is easliy fixed. Problem normally a dry solder joint inside on the board

Okay I have found it. Looks like some genius unplugged it and didn't label the wires

There was another page too, if this helps at all.

I really need to get my hands on an Euro Wiring diagram...

The one in the Haynes manual that I have is more "euro" I think, but it's stupidly hard to comprehend.

FML.

This is why you don't work on cars all day.

Fuse #4, I hate you.

Cheers Michael for your help.

BTW: Haynes manual FTL
