BadE30 0 Report post Posted January 20, 2005 hey, any one know why my sub would be shutting off when i turn on my car? i've just installed 2 pioneer 12's and a LA amp, which i used to have running sweet in my last car but now the amp shuts down and the subs sort of 'pop' ive checked everything i can think of, anyone else have any ideas? :confused: Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Busted 0 Report post Posted January 21, 2005 hey mate im not an expert but do any lights come on before it shuts off it sounds as though your subs may be drawing to much power, the ground wire may not be great, or the + and - speaker connection on the amp maybe touching some how good luck hope this helps same thing happened to me and i played around with these and it came right. oh and are you using the same head deck?? mabye your battery aint perfect.
