ACS523i 0 Report post Posted January 29, 2010 Good afternoon All, A BMW fan for years, ever since being taken for a drive in a VN Group A Commodore in 93 and we got taken to the cleaners by an M5 on the Rimutaka hill road. I finally got my own BMW in 2006, that being a 2000 E39 AC Schnitzer 523i (pictured), Before this I had an 06 SV6 Commodore and my Beemer is quicker than that in every aspect which I found surprising with the bee em only being a 2.5, I suspect it has something to do with the AC schnitzer mods (18' alloys, Strut brace, suspension, exhaust and air box). I have subsequently been releived of my Beemer by my wife and 10 month old son (safer for them to be in than our rough old Opel Vectra) so I am counting the days until I can get an E39 540i MSport - or If a bl00dy miracle occurs and I win powerball, get a mint E39 M5 (which I still like better than the new ones) Cheers Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
