so54i88 0 Report post Posted February 2, 2010 Hi guys, I've got this rediculous problem this my rear middle seatbelt. After putting the back seats down (so i could put a long shelf in the car) I realised that it wouldn't come up as the middle seatbelt was fully retracted when it was put down but it wouldn't release enough for the seat to go back up. Has anyone heard of this problem before? How do I remove the back lining of the rear seat so I can get access to the seatbelt mechanism? I can (with difficulty though) get access to the bolt between the seat and the back. I wonder, if i removed the bolt and feed a bit more seatbelt into the mechanism when the back is in upright position, would this help? Any advice would be appreciated guys.......
