Jo Blogs 11 Report post Posted February 8, 2010 The upper suspension arm at the rear of the vehicle? PM Me Hey there. Here is a diagram: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?mo...hg=33&fg=30 Start by jacking the vehicle up and removing both rear wheels, then remove arm #13 at the ball joint end, then prosed to remove the faulty arm #17. you will need good spanners, then will need to pop out the ball joints from the hub by tapping it with a hammer. upon reinstalling the arms you need to leave the ends with the rubber bushes finger tight, then refit wheels, and then whilst the vehicle is on the ground tighten up the bolts, this stops the bushes being loaded up when the vehicle is sitting flat on the ground, if you do not do this you can expect the bushes to fail 10x quicker. But dude, If you are not happy with doing it yourself a good mechanic should only charge you 1-1.5 hours labour and an alignment. also re your manual did you just want a owners manual? I have a pdf version if you would like it
