mac4 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2010 hi my E36 328is has these "GT racing 'chrome wheels with Toyo proxes 245/40 /zr/18 tyres on when i bought it . it goes round corners like on rails but its hard ride like a billy cart on coblestones & constantly correcting for bumps or tramlining very tiring on long trips . I want something more for long distance touring than tearing around corners flat out , tyre merchants give conflicting advice , just trying to sell the most expensive combo they can i suspect . So any recommendations ?

So any recommendations ? Ive got some 18 inch Konig Netz on my E46 with Event tyres (cheapest brand) around 100 bucks a tyre and a lot of people ask me what tyres are on it coz the ride is so smooth, only thing is they get a little noisy from them when ur on hard gravel road, but when u got ur stereo up full blast u cant hear it haha.
