tHrEEtWoFiVe 0 Report post Posted December 13, 2003 (edited) Well I finally got round to taking some pics, Here is the run down on the car. Complete rebuild of engine, including: New set of bearings all round and rings. Balanced crank, and polished. Bead Blasted pistons. Head was planed, Ported a little, (just cleaned up) 3 face valve cut (flows better) Block was decked. (machined) Oil pump all measured up and checked (etc, did price a new pump, but mine was mint so left.) Cam was sent into FCS, measured and tidy up into spec. (I have yet to see anyone make big gains from putting in big cams, I dont see the point, plus its a nice daily driver) New head bolts, gaskets etc. All new seals all round,. New waterpump. New thermostate. New cam belt and tensioner. Injectors were sent away and cleaned and flowed. Radiator flushed, new hoses. (There are numerous new parts in the engine bay cant remember them all lolol) New clutch master cylinder. Complete new clutch. Flywheel machined. Aircon removed. New tie Rod ends. New Front discs (brembo) New brake pads (metal Kings, bastard of a thing to bed in) King springs fitted, with Koni yellows all round (adjustable) (Dont see the point in coil overs cus Ill never get round to adjusting them lolol) Waiting for bushes to arrive (some of them), hehehehehehehe Car was stripped to a rolling shell, inspected from head to toe and any rust or worn component was replaced. I can safely say its in good nic (no major crashes NO rust.) Oh and 16 rims fitted. (yes Im aware you dont like them lololol) FUTURE MODS bigger injectors. change AFM. Bore throttle body. Adjustable fuel preasure regulator. Custom chip. (Looking into this at the moment, May even look into doing this myself.) Supersprint muffler. Possibly look at some headers. Complete repaint. May go further with suspension. This is stage 2, which will happin end of next yr. Ive spent to much money so far. E30-323ti 66 Report post Posted December 16, 2003 tHrEEtWoFiVe: Good Work, That is one very tidy E30 you have there. M20's look good with the black painted rocker cover & inlet manifold. But I'm sorry, those wheels don't do it any justice. What size tyres are you running on them?? I think I will have to sell you my 16's!!
tHrEEtWoFiVe 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2003 lol its to late, I needed your rims a month ago. I had a time limit on getting the car back on the road. I didnt want to put it back on with the old rims they were unsafe as far as I was concerned. I would of purchased your rims a month or two ago. I needed them back then. So unfortunatly this will be staying for a little longer. But I traded the old crapper rims and only paid 400 dollers for these and tyres. So Im happy.
