BMRBOI 8 Report post Posted April 17, 2010 Rattling sound coming from right front brake area, the sound is like a stone rattling but I cannot find any. The sound stops when I apply pressure on the brakes. Someone has mentioned an anti rattle clip on the calliper, could this be true? 1992 e36 325i
JaseNZ 53 Report post Posted April 17, 2010 Easy enough to find out, Just take the wheel off and make sure the anti rattle clips are propely in place and inspect everything while you are there.

Someone has mentioned an anti rattle clip on the calliper, could this be true? 1992 e36 325i Hey dude, Easy one to fix, Had this problem in my e36 328i, Rattle noise, stopped as soon as you applied light pressure to brakes, turned out to be the pad moving in the caliper carrier. They were Firepower brake pads, Cheap nasty Sh**. Replaced them with TRW and noise is gone XD This could almost be the cheapest fix ever on a BMW hahah
danutt 4 Report post Posted April 19, 2010 hey mate had this on my e36 at the rear replaced the brake pads and found the ones that were installed on the car were cheap aftermarket things without the 3 prong clips without those the brake pad rattles between the disc and caliper hope this helps
Mikal 4 Report post Posted April 19, 2010 I had the same thing as the above... Also try stretch out the prong clips on the pads, for a tighter fit.
