While the Dubai one was amazing (and I mean amazing) I always find Dubai looks to be a vulgar place. But I have never been there, so can't pass any real judgement.

I did however like a lot of the other gigapixel places like Yosemite etc. They were awesome, but for sheer scale the Dubai one was hard to beat.

I spent about 2 hours looking at the different pictures last night. Very cool!

Look for the yellow supercar (poss Ferrari) parked high on one of the upper terraces of the tallest building (in World!)

I've been looking at this pic, have noticed a few things that do'nt add up .

It looks like midday going by the shadows , where are all the people either on the construction sites or on the ground there should be 1000's . Building sites in Dubai run 24/7 . No cars parked around the site either , not many driving around the streets .

And when you take a closer look at the tallest tower it has a bend in it . Look about half way down at the window lines on the lefthand side they do'nt match up .

Did'nt find the yellow 4re .

suppost tobe the world's largest photo . ( 45 gigs ). It maybe their day off . But with a population of 1.3 mill , i would have expected a few more poeple on the streets

If its a car, and it looks like it is, my money is on a Ferrari Enzo or Koenigsegg CCR!

dubai is mainly muslim.. they may be praying in temples or sumthing 5 x 15 mins prayers a day...

It is actually 4,500 photos taken by a camera hooked up to a machine (to take the photos at the right intervals etc) and then sewn together by some powerful piece of software to form the one photo.

Thats is why there can be fuzzy areas, and "bends" in objects and areas that don't match up perfectly.
