e34 ihka/sword failure mode.

Recommended Posts

was leaving the supermarket and pressed the windscreen demist button, this puts the fan onto full speed and directs ALL air onto windscreen, the fan blew full speed for a couple of seconds then seemed to stop.only seem to have low speed on the fan now ,cannot increase speed.

Is this the "sword" or is there a seperate fuse

for the record the IHKA is the 'automatic' system, continuously variable fan speed

hey Paul,

bugger wrong time of year for this to happen,

check fuses, then start looking at the resistor, then ihka module

currently wrecking a few E34's give me a yell
