crieger 0 Report post Posted July 16, 2010 I had this on my 328i and took ages to correct. If anyone has this problem, I can help - freeeeee. Some people sell the entire heater blower for $100 plus your old one. The fix? A 0.47 mF capacitor. It works beautifull now.
C.Ross 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2012 i had the same issue.... turns out you dont even need to replace the capacitor, it's just a dry joint (where the solder holding the capacitor breaks) therefor you just need to remove the old solder and reapply some new solder to joint, hey presto!
