jochen 4 Report post Posted July 26, 2010 Why don't you put the car in your parents name and have it thru your parents insurance mate?...SOOOO much cheaper and they'll insure anything. Just have you as a "listed driver" and your Mum or Dad as a "Main driver"...never understood people who don't do this when they have trouble with insurance, It's all legit and I know plenty of people who are insured this way and have made claims etc... As well as what Jochen said, I think the idea is to build up a (hopefully) good and long insurance history early. In saying that, all the bonuses associated with that are overrated anyway.
