_Matt_ 42 Report post Posted July 27, 2010 Hi there. Poorguy was nice enough to send me an indicator from his 528i as the plastic broke in mine so it couldn't return. I thought it would be a relatively simple swap but have come across this... This is a connection from my old indicator: The input it went into: (from the column) The new indicators output. so, not quite sure what to do here. Can anyone shed some light on this? BTW - i have tested the new indicator and everything works so i am even more intrigued on what this grey wire is for Cheers.
pureboiracer 0 Report post Posted July 27, 2010 (edited) just chop and join your old connector into both those white wires. they both go to the same place as you can see they join in the 1 pin plug. i think im on the right track??? your post was kinda confusing. or is your indicator already hooked up and working and that wires just a left over? if so i would just leave it. may be for something that does not come in your car. ie alarm or something.
