For those that dont recall, or werent around, the Nissan Mobil was a 2 round series, the first round being in Welly, the second at Puke. I never went to the Welly rounds but went up to Puke a number of times (better viewing).

Also, in 1987 there were two rounds of the Nissan Mobil, one in Feb and one at the end of the year which was for the first and only year of the WTCC.

Yes the Eggenberger/Texaco Cosworths were quick, but they were also cheats, as were factory BMW teams in the early part of the WTCC.
