Scams on TM - bloody oceans of the stuff..

Recommended Posts

^ that was a line from the famous NZ Documentary: Once were Warriors.

I've just gone through my inbox and have 6 emails from TM in the last three days detailing that the auction that I'd viewed was possibly a scam. This seems to be happening an absolute shitload lately. What the hell is going on? Anyhow, I thought I'd just warn you guys that this is happening incase none of you are up with the play. Just seen a nice Msport 328i (plate was registered to a 328i) listed as a 320i with the correct mileage though, so they are getting crafty:

BMW 4 Door,ABS Brakes,Air Conditioning,Alloys,Car Stereo,Electric Windows,Leather,Power Steering,Sunroof,Traction Control

Please contact asap 4 more info!

Numbskull descriptions like that should give you a warning that they are not legit, I mean Car Stereo???

Very nice car and was listed at 5k - super warning right there.

I found Dan (Driftit's) old 540 advertised on T&E about a year ago for sale, all the details were correct from memory, but it was very cheap. One of those, sorry I'm overseas but if you want to pay a deposit I'll get them to release it from storage.
