concreteman 0 Report post Posted August 28, 2010 Hi I have seen a lot of information about changing the OEM nav/cd changers etc. It's all a bit expensive for what it is. I have a HTC HD2 phone (4.3" screen) that does navigation/mp3/phone etc. One problem i have is the only oem power source is the lighter that is half way down the console. So running power to my screen mounted phone holder and visor mounted uniden bluetooth unit looks untidy and interferes with dash buttons (gets in the way). I also want to run the audio out of my phone (has a 3.5mm out) to the sound system. Has anyone got some bright ideas about putting in some unobtrusive power jacks. Was thinking maybe using 3.5mm mono sockets, and a right angle male? What about where to source the power from? I have a 2001 e38 735I with sunroof. It does have an OEM phone kit (but no phone).
