Over the last wee while my m52b28 has started blowing black smoke on heavy accel, esp when it's cold and lacking some torque / power. I've plugged in my carsoft / INPA cable and checked for O2 sensor errors but there is nothing? The exhaust pipe is black and sooty. Do you think this could still be the O2 sensor causing the car to run rich? -If so, should I just unplug my pre-cat sensor and drive it for a few days to see if there is any change?
