m20b20 fpr vacuum line?

hi, hope somebody can help me. i have an m20b20 from an e30 facelift.

I want to replace the vacuum line which runs between the fpr (fuel pressure regulator) and the intake manifold.

What size is this vacuum hose? i cant find any specific information on it and real oem.com doesnt show it that clear.

From what i can tell it is 3.5 mm inner diameter/7.5mm outer diameter. Is this correct?

Also where do i get it from?, as I went to both repco and supercheap and neither of them sold 3.5mm vacuum hose

Repco should have it? I bought 2 metres of it from there last week.

Something like that, just asked for vacuum hose, $10ish for 2 metres..

oh right, so the diamteter doesnt really matter? it doesnt have to be the size of the oem part? and its fine to use hose bigger or smaller?

3mm is fine.

Smaller is fine - as long as you can get it over the the tube each end. Vaccum draw off is minimal

You can go as big as will securely fit & not leak.

Any generic vacuum hose will do.
