Any developments for LED trailer lights vs European vechicles?

As topic suggests....

Wondering if anyone has come across lights out there that draw enough amperage to pass them off as standard bulbs. The system I have at the moment makes any euro flash too fast and make some not work at all. Most euro cars now need to enter into a "trailer mode" when woken up by plugging in the trailer plug. If not enough amperage is drawn from the lights on the trailer then it doesn't enter this mode thus causing problems.

The whole point of LED's is that they don't draw the same current as a bulb lamp.... There are some LED's that do specifically draw more current than normal in a particular mode (Hella Duraled indicators - use the blue wire not the yellow one) to try and get around this, but it is hit and miss at the best of times. Different cars respond differently.

You need to either get a trailer wiring kit or build one up with relays.
