GimmeVanos 0 Report post Posted December 29, 2003 Do any of you do your own oil changes and manually reset the service indicator on the dashboard? Also, I'm looking for a service manual for a 1995 E36 M3; if anyone know where I can get a second hand one that'd be grand
Guest Andrew Report post Posted December 30, 2003 Hi, welcome to the site. I'm not sure about the m3.. but yes we do reset the SI lights and do our own oil changes. Perhaps someone with an e36 can help (homy?)

Grant 4 Report post Posted January 4, 2004 I just cheat and use a bit of wire (with a fusable link), put in the right points in the 15 point connector in the engine bay, turn the key into the second position for 5 deconds, and the lights reset. Does the trick every time (on my E30 anyway) Cheers
