DarinD 8 Report post Posted April 4, 2011 (edited) Hey guys, I know this isn't a beemer, but hey BMW did buy Mini later on Pics dont do it justice, most of them are just from my phone. Getting a photoshoot done on it, hopefully this Sunday. The paint is actually really deep, with a real high gloss, changes in the sunlight and is pretty dark at night. The car has basicaly had everything restored. I have put in over $20,000 in her. Dont expect to get that back. We have got too many cars and unfortunately for a student, its too much money invested in a car so she has to go! Im pretty flexible on price. PM me for any questions etc. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.as...915&ed=true Again sorry for the phone pics. Cheers, Darin Edited April 28, 2011 by xplodke83

DarinD 8 Report post Posted April 4, 2011 Colour looks familiar mate LOL. Oh snap! Haha! I just handed the panel beater a pic of a hot rod I spotted on the net and he matched it up for me. I just call it Orange Pearl
bellicose 9 Report post Posted April 4, 2011 Good choice of colour tho' mate. Doesn't matter how good the camera is you will never get the true colour. Wouldn't think it's the same.

Have to agree there, really hard to capture the colour. Thanks, looks good on the 5er too! You may have to point me in the direction of your panel beater for future use. Mine took two months longer than expected and cost nearly double!

I just spent a grand tidying up the paint on my BMW. Ive got a few other things that need tidying up though! (minor touch ups etc). But i have also been considering getting a repaint on the old man's Triumph Herald.
