collaboration 0 Report post Posted June 10, 2011 passenger side isn't water tight it's leaking through passenger side door somewhere. i saw it leaking from the bottom while i was driving today. in result the passenger side floor is wet but not flooded. i have tried to compare it with the driver side but no luck. i'm thinking that the car collects water when stationary under rain and there must be blockage somewhere where should i look?? it's for e30 316i coupe by the way
antil33t 90 Report post Posted June 10, 2011 Does it have a sunroof?
_Matt_ 42 Report post Posted June 10, 2011 I discovered the exact same problem tonight in my e28, I sourced it back to the hole where the wires enter the interior from the door. I hope its that because if its the sun roof drain or something it will be an ass to fix.

b mike w 0 Report post Posted June 11, 2011 (edited) places i have found rust holes on the passenger side that have let water in. above loom through firewall, and where the bonnet release cable runs through the firewall and the water was running back down the cable into the footwell. have a quick look at those places Edited June 12, 2011 by NP E30
