deeveus 81 Report post Posted July 12, 2011 Picked up this 02 Corolla for 6k as my runabout, 140kms slushbox with o/d button (ROFL - my 1857 horse & cart had a o/d button) - it's mint as inside but exterior require bonnet, front bumper and rear bumper to be resprayed. I've been quoted $800 to have this done - is that a fair price? Also, anyone here from Dunedin recommend a cheap painter? Cheers.
my_e36 43 Report post Posted July 12, 2011 (edited) Not exactly helpful here, but if it's just a run about, does it really need to be looking immaculate? Or should I ask, how bad are they? Edited July 12, 2011 by SpikeyLemon

Yeah it kinda does matter, it's quite terrible, the rear of the car looks quite bad especially I also like a tidy car.
39KiwiTouring 2 Report post Posted July 12, 2011 Paint is getting dear but $250 per panel is a bit much I would be looking for $190-200 per panel if you can.
