stolen 0 Report post Posted May 21, 2005 i had this springs problem which i posted up a few weeks back. After $360 dats been fixed and it seems to have stopped the 1500-4000rpm ticking sound i used to get sometime. Anyway its not there since i got the car back. But now the steering wheel starts shaking from around 80-110 km/h and is pretty noticable around 80. Its annoying! :banghead: The spring fixed involved taking the suspension out and resetting them etc so would this be cos of that? Any thought are welcome thanks. Grant 4 Report post Posted May 21, 2005 Did you get a wheel alignment at the same time? Maybe try that. Cheers Grant
Guest Andrew Report post Posted May 21, 2005 what did the springs have to do with the engine noise?
318is 0 Report post Posted May 22, 2005 Have your front wheels balanced. Vibration at steering wheel at higher speeds is classic signs of 'out-of-balance' front wheels.
