F20-91 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2011 Hi guys! Decided to bite the bullet and get my transmission serviced; after Jeff Gray pleading with me not to as apparently there is a definite risk of failure after a service at 100000k+. I still thought it would be sensible to service it anyway. So I took it to Motortech and they drained, flushed and pumped new ATF fluid in, new pan gasket and filter too. The gear shift is now like a hot knife through butter, silky. I am pleased but am wondering for how long should I wait till I next do this?
