Final Touch Open Day October 29th

Recommended Posts

Hey Guys, Gordon from Final Touch here, some of you know me or our company Final Touch as we’ve been privileged to work on a few of your fine motor vehicles from time to time and the forum/s tend to come up in conversation quite a bit - It's always nice to meet enthusiasts who are passionate about their vehicles an some of you guys have got some pretty wicked cars.

I'm not sure if this is the most appropriate area for this post but seeing as Final Touch is about shiny cars I figured it was a good starting place...

I’m always a bit cautious about posting in Car forums for fear of coming across as a bit of a spammer (I definitely don't want to be the looser that spams for business ) but I thought I’d better take a chance and jump on to invite anyone who might be interested along to our open day/show and shine on the 29th of October.

We’re having it at our workshop in Albany from 10am- 3pm and everyone is welcome. We’ll have a sausage sizzle going on, a bouncy castle and things for the kids and we’re keen to have as many cool looking cars on show as possible on the day. We’ll have a few prizes up for grabs if anyone is keen to put their car on show. Obviously we’ll be here and keen to talk to people about paint care and car detailing etc... on the day as well, I know that enthusiasts are often keen to have a chat about stuff without feeling like we’re trying to sell them $1000 details so we’ll be happy to chat with anyone about their cars. We'll be asking a couple of other car related companies along as well so there should be something for everyone to have a look at.

We’ll be inviting a few clubs etc... that we’ve done some work with and there seems to be a fairly positive ammount of interest so if people are keen at all to come along as a group please let us know in advance and we’ll work on setting aside a bit of an area for you. We might need to have a club showdown if there’s enough interest.

Lets hope for some fine weather on the day :)

The Guys from Wheelfixit are confirmed to come along on the day for anyone who wants to talk about wheel repairs, In my experience Nick and his team do a great job and provide a wide range of services.

The Team from Meguiars NZ are keen to be onsite on the day as well to give their expert advice on car care products and I'm sure we'll have some great special prices available on the day if people want to stock up for the summer season.

Hey guys, just a quick update on this for Saturday .

The weather forecast is looking good at this stage so that's awesome, and we have several companies joining us on the day.

At this stage we have confirmed - Meguiar's, The Dent Magician, Wheelfixit, Trim Fix, Clear Light (Headlight restorations) & Pure Vision Graphics (Vehicle Wrapping and Tinted headlight protective films). There's a possibility of having Auto Safe and Sound there on the day and maybe Fusion.... I have to talk to them again.

Equip Espresso will keep us topped up with caffeine and a sausage sizzle will provide some sustenance as children bounce happily on the F1 bouncy castle.

If anyone is up for the challenge a hyper simulator Will be there to record your lap times.

Prizes for cars on show will include Meguiars Products, Grit Guard wash systems, Final Touch polishing and Stonechip repairs, Headlight Protective film application & the team from RPMS cards have kindly donated some card memberships as well.

We're looking forward to it and hope to see you there, we're at 5 Douglas Alexander Parade in Albany in the business park from 10:00am :)
